Rachel became a criminal lawyer, passionately believing that everyone deserves the right to a proper defence and in the power of restorative justice and rehabilitation, and their impact on the wider community.
Rachel completed her Bachelor’s degree in Arts at Monash University in 2013, having majored in Criminology. She later went on to complete her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Melbourne.
Whilst at the University of Melbourne, she was involved in a variety of programs and was awarded the Daniel McCluskey Social Justice Prize for her volunteer work in Victorian prisons in the Prison Legal Education and Assistance (PLEA) Project.
During her studies, Rachel volunteered across the legal sector and interned with Victoria Legal Aid in their Family Law Division, gaining invaluable experience in Intervention and Family Violence Safety matters.
Since joining our firm, Rachel has successfully represented a number of clients in a wide range of criminal and traffic matters, as well as Intervention orders and personal safety matters, rapidly becoming a well respected and valued member of our team.
